Running parallel to the HIX show floor is Collection – a boutique edit of 30 leading European design brands serving up a taste of their latest launches.
From decorative lighting and soft furnishings to fabrics and fine details, Collection is a one-stop shop for products at the cutting edge of hotel design.
Featured brands: Allermuir, Mater, Moooi Carpets, Table Place Chairs, Ebb & Flow, Marset, HOUE, Muuto, Arpa, Lyndon and Vipp.
Set next door to the HIX Talks theatre and the DB Schenker sponsored VIP room – designed by Collection exhibitors Moooi and Muuto respectively – Collection is programmed with its own schedule of activations and showcases.
This year’s edition features a mixture of leading international brands like Mater HOUE and Mublo with the best of British interior labels including Allermuir, Boss and Holmes Bespoke.
Unfinished Works
Acting as the town square for Collection is Unfinished Works, an immersive installation by Wroclaw-based studio MIXD. Created in collaboration with Hansgrohe, Unfinished Works will welcome a series of breakout talks and presentations across the two days.
Don’t miss: On 16th November from 16:00 – 17:00, the space will host a roundtable exploring the topic ‘building better together’ with a panel of esteemed colleagues from across the commercial hotel design sector. Following this, a drinks session will allow guests to engage with the space and connect with the designers behind it.
Handcrafted HIX
Collection also features a special focus on handmade and artisanal products including genuine one-off pieces from makers like Ana Bridgewater and Knot my Name, the latter of which is providing a special hand-woven art piece for the Unfinished Works installation space inspired by this year’s theme ‘a room with a point of view’.
HIXTAPE
For Thursday evening’s HIX social, soundtrack specialists Music Concierge are compiling a bespoke HIXtape to score an evening of stand parties, drinks receptions and new connections from MIXD’s unfinished works installation.

HIX is delighted to be rolling out the carpet for a genuine movie star… Starring in Netflix’s Glass Onion, Quasar Holland’s Pollux 5 is making a special Collection appearance on 16 & 17 November at stand A3.
