Christian Sieger
Christian Sieger carried out his first PR and design projects while he was still at school, studied business at university and obtained a wealth of international work experience, including at Fitch RS PLC in London. In his mid-20s, he brought the knowledge and experience he had acquired to the family company and initiated a long-term expansion of the marketing and public relations department. Why? Well, as Christian Sieger pointedly puts it, “Who’s going to be interested in something that nobody sees?”. As manager and marketing director, he represents the company to the outside world. He attends trade fairs in Germany and overseas, and is a popular face at international symposia and conferences. His career milestones include developing the Ritzenhoff brand (1992), reviving the Arzberg brand in the 1990s and cultivating successful, decades-long partnerships with Alape, Dornbracht and Duravit. Projects for Deutsche Bahn, Sony and airberlin underscore the breadth of agency services that the company offers, as do innovative marketing concepts: for example, for Nanjing Road in Shanghai. The company has been honoured with over 200 design awards. His personal awards include the “Simon Taylor Award for Lifetime Achievement”, which was awarded to him (aged 47) and his brother in London in 2013.
